The Great Fat Scandal

Are you ready to learn a super simple fat-burning trick?

We learned the dangers of PUFAs and how devastating they are for your thyroid, metabolism and overall health.

Remember what happened when the cows were given coconut oil? They LOST weight! You can go back and read it here

Fat is absolutely CRUCIAL for a healthy thyroid.

Did you know ? .....

  • Saturated fats regulate the release of sugar into your bloodstream

  • Saturated fats act as antioxidants, protecting your cells from damage

  • Saturated fats serve as a backup source of energy (this is actually why your body will convert extra sugar into fat when you’re not consuming adequate fat in your diet!)

  • Saturated fats help protect you from the negative effects of PUFAs

  • Saturated fats promote healthy thyroid function

It’s amazing to me that so many people STILL believe that saturated fats are bad for you!

This all started when Ancel Keys, (a medical doctor in the 50’s) distorted his studies and showed that countries where the people ate higher amounts of dietary saturated fat had higher rates of heart disease.

The seed-oil companies used his false study as a springboard to promote their cheap, “heart healthy” polyunsaturated fats (soybean oil, corn oil, safflower oil, canola oil, etc) and scare people away from using traditional saturated fats, such as butter, coconut oil, meats, tallow, etc.

wo other huge reasons people switched to these oils:

1. War shortages lead to the Creation of CRISCO.

When animal fats were rationed, Proctor and Gamble took this opportunity and pushed new hydrogenated vegetable/seed oils with with HUGE campaign.

2. Chemists Created Paint From Petroleum

“Traditionally, varnishes and paints were made of linseed (flaxseed) oil, soy oil and safflower oil. Around the time of World War 2, chemists discovered how to make paint from petroleum. The result lead to an excess supply of seed oil in the market. What do you do with a 'food' product that no one wants? You feed it to your animal thats what. “

This is absolutely one of the most detrimental diet mistakes that still negatively effects so many today.

If you want a super simple, fat-burning, metabolism-boosting tip that also supports immune function......here it is.

ADD COCONUT OIL, GHEE, LARD, GRASS-FED BUTTER TO YOUR DIET!

Butter, ghee, lard and coconut oil were the traditional fats used in cooking for thousands of years, long before todays epidemic of cancers and heart disease.

Butter, Ghee and Lard are wonderful sources of vitamins A and D, which aid in calcium regulation for bone support, as well as hormone support for thyroid and stress regulation.

Coconut oil is full of medium-chain fatty acids which your body uses readily for energy.

Not only will it NOT make you gain weight, but it actually increases your metabolism for a period of time after you eat it!

When you consume some with each meal, it will consistently stimulate your thyroid and metabolism.

Coconut oil is a powerful antioxidant, antihistamine, anti-viral, anti-bacterial, and anti-fungal.

It is a powerful tool in fighting cancer, supports immune function and actually LOWERS cholesterol.

When cooking, we use organic REFINED coconut oil, and ALWAYS grass-fed butter.

(the small coconut particles in virgin can cause digestive irritation for *some* people. We use both- but refined when frying/cooking because we don’t always want that coconut flavor)

I hope this thrills you like it does me! I absolutely LOVE butter and coconut oil, and have eaten them daily for 16 years!

Top 3 things you need to do RIGHT AWAY when it comes to fat in your diet:

  1. REMOVE ALL PUFAS FROM YOUR DIET
